FAQ

First: Admission and Target Groups

1- What grade levels does the school accept?

Graduates of the sixth grade of primary school are admitted to the first intermediate grade at our blessed school.

Graduates of the third grade of intermediate school are admitted to the fourth preparatory grade at our blessed school.

2- What birth years are required for each grade level?

Students born in (2011 – 2012 – 2013 – 2014 - 2015) are eligible for admission to the first intermediate grade.

Students born in (2010 – 2011 – 2012 – 2013 – 2014) are eligible for admission to the second intermediate grade.

Students born in (2009 – 2010 – 2011 – 2012 – 2013) are eligible for admission to the third intermediate grade.

Students born in (2006 – 2007 – 2008 – 2009 – 2010 – 2011 – 2012) are eligible for admission to the fourth preparatory grade.

Students born in (2005 – 2006 – 2007 – 2008 – 2009 – 2010 – 2011) are eligible for admission to the fifth preparatory grade.

Students born in (2004 - 2005 - 2006 – 2007 – 2008 – 2009 – 2010) are eligible for admission to the fifth preparatory grade.

3- Is there a specific age requirement for admission?

Male students born in (2011) or later may be admitted to the first intermediate grade, provided that they are no older than sixteen years of age and have a satisfactory academic record.

Male students born in (2006) or later may be admitted to the fourth preparatory grade, provided that they are no older than twenty-one years of age and have a satisfactory academic record.

 

Second: Scholarship and Fees

1- What does the scholarship cover free of charge?

(Admission, tuition, and accommodation).

2- What expenses are the student or their guardian responsible for?

(The student is responsible for transportation expenses to and from locations inside and outside Iraq, as well as the cost of clothing, food, and beverages required by the student).

3- Are food and beverages included in the scholarship?

(Not included in the scholarship. However, there is the Khayrat of Our Master Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Kilani, may Allah sanctify his noble secret, kitchen, where the school administration, in cooperation with the kitchen administration, provides food and beverages for the students).

4- Are clothing and personal necessities included?

(Not included in the scholarship and are to be provided at the student's own expense).

5- Are visa and travel expenses included?

(Not included in the scholarship and are to be covered by the student).

 

Third: Academic Qualifications

1- Must educational certificates issued outside Iraq be officially authenticated before admission, or can this be done after the student arrives?

(Yes. The certificate must be authenticated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country that issued the certificate).

2- What educational certificates are accepted for application?

Primary School Certificate if the student is applying for admission to the first intermediate grade.

Intermediate School Certificate if the student is applying for admission to the fourth preparatory grade.

 

Fourth: Language of Instruction and Curriculum

1- Is proficiency in Arabic required before applying?

(Yes).

2- Is there an interview or test to assess the student's level of Arabic?

(Yes).

3- What is the language of instruction at the school?

(Arabic exclusively).

4- Is the school religious or academic in nature?

(It is a religious and academic institution).

5- What Islamic religious subjects are taught?

(The Noble Qur'an and its sciences, Prophetic Hadith and its sciences, Sunni creed, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh), Logic, Islamic inheritance law, Tasawwuf and Islamic ethics, and the Arabic language, including morphology, grammar, and rhetoric).

6- What academic (general) subjects are taught?

(History, Geography, Computer Science, General Life Sciences, Mathematics, and the English language).

7- Does the teaching of Islamic religious sciences take precedence over academic subjects?

(Yes).

 

Fifth: Admission Procedures

1- How does the registration process work?

  • Inside Iraq (by visiting the secondary school on Sundays and Tuesdays of each week from (8:30) a.m. until (12:00) noon, in order for the student to obtain an official admission approval letter and a recommendation letter for the student from the Imam and Khatib of the mosque. Alternatively, the student may initially register through the electronic application form to reserve a place at our school and contact the page administration to receive the aforementioned documents).

  • Outside Iraq (a copy of the student's passport and authenticated educational certificate must be sent so that the school administration can reserve an academic place for the student. The student then completes the visa and student visa procedures after being informed of their admission by the school).

2- Does registration begin through an electronic application form?

(Yes. Initial registration is completed through the electronic application form to reserve a place for the student at our school, followed by contacting the page administration to receive the required procedures).

3- Is there an online interview?

(No).

4- Is there an admission test?

(Yes).

5- Is the memorization of a specific portion of the Noble Qur'an or passing an Islamic religious examination required?

(The student should have memorized whatever portion of the Book of Allah Almighty is within his ability).

6- How is the student informed of their admission?

(Through the official email address of our secondary school or through a person authorized by the school administration).

7- Does the student receive an official admission letter?

(Yes).

 

Sixth: Required Documents

1- What documents are required for application?

Inside Iraq (Unified National ID Card, and the student's results from the most recent academic stage completed).

Outside Iraq (National ID Card, passport, and authenticated educational certificate).

2- Is a medical report or examination required?

(Yes).

3- Are there any other required documents?

Six personal photographs with a white background.

 

Seventh: Accommodation and Student Life

1- Does the school provide boarding accommodation?

(Yes. Fully equipped boarding accommodation is available within the school building).

2- Is there healthcare or a clinic for students?

(Yes. Monthly healthcare services are provided for each student).

3- Are students allowed to use mobile phones?

(Mobile phone use is strictly prohibited in the boarding section. However, students are permitted to communicate with their families using their phones under the supervision of the boarding section supervisor).

4- Can the student communicate with their family?

(The student is permitted to communicate with their family once, at designated times, under the supervision of the boarding section supervisor, in order to safeguard the student's study time).

5- Are there specific rules governing the use of phones or the internet within the school?

(Yes, in accordance with specific regulations).

 

Eighth: Holidays

1- What annual holidays do students receive?

  • Mid-year holiday (two weeks only).

  • End-of-year holiday (four months).

2- Is the student allowed to travel to their home country during the holidays?

(Yes).

 

Ninth: Graduation Certificate

1- Is the certificate officially recognized?

(Yes. It is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research).

2- Which authority authenticates the certificate?

(The Directorate of Religious Education and Islamic Studies at the Sunni Endowment Office, and it is also authenticated by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

3- Does the certificate qualify the student for admission to universities?

(Yes).

 

Tenth: General Information

1- Is the school exclusively for male students?

(Yes).

2- Is there a maximum number of students admitted each year?

(Yes).

3- Are there any other conditions or instructions that students should know before applying?

Choosing this school is not merely a choice to obtain a certificate; rather, it is a choice of a noble mission and a sincere desire to gain deep understanding of the religion of Allah and to follow the path of knowledge through which Allah has elevated people and made its people the heirs of the Prophets. Therefore, we welcome every student who finds within himself a longing for Islamic knowledge, and every parent who aspires to see his son adorned with the noble character of Islam, equipped with beneficial knowledge, and raised in an environment of knowledge and faith that honors the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ, and instills in hearts love for the scholars and the righteous.
